It seems like FOREVER since season one of ‘Younger’ ended with Liza dropping a truth bomb on her man. But can Josh really date her now? This season two trailer makes it look like it may not work out after all.
Is Younger back yet? The most addicting new show of 2015 doesn’t return until January 13, but TVLand just dropped its first full trailer for season two and it involves everything we loved from the first season: lies, secrets, and a lot of hooking up. (Also, what is Kelsey doing on the floor?)
“I can’t be in your life,” Josh (Nico Tortorello) tells Liza (Sutton Foster), with tears in his eyes in the first trailer, released on Dec. 17 on Younger‘s Twitter account. However, throughout the trailer we do see them kissing, flirting, a lot and see her daughter actually catch them making out. (Trust me, that’s one of the best storylines of the premiere!)
Also in the trailer, we see Liza’s big boss, Charles (Peter Hermann) possibly make a pass at her. “I wish I could ask you to come in, but that could get both of us in trouble,” he says to her in the trailer. Additionally, he later says,”Where’s your young man?” She replies with “I’m not sure there is a young man.”
It’s pretty clear it’s going to be a crazy ride this season for Liza — she almost kisses her ex husband during the clip and has a moment with a bearded, plaid-wearing Matthew Morrison. She’s also still keeping the secret from Kelsey (Hilary Duff), but Hil’s douchey BF does read her texts in the trailer so maybe he’ll find out. We’ll see!
Also, shout out to Hil, who’s cover of Fleetwood Mac‘s “Little Lies” is the theme song in the trailer and it’s freaking incredible.
So, are you excited for this season of Younger? Let us know!
