Gwen Stefani closed out season 9 of ‘The Voice’ with a retro ’60s-inspired beauty look. The singer and coach wore her hair long and layered, with a dark smokey eye and major lashes. Find out more about Gwen’s beauty look for the big finale!
It may have been Adam Levine who had the winning contestant on the December 15 season finale of The Voice, but coach Gwen Stefani will always be a winner in our book for her endless supply of beauty inspiration. For part two of the show’s finale, Gwen went retro, keeping her polished blowout from the night before and adding a Twiggy-esque doe-eyed look to her makeup.

Gwen amped up her makeup look from the night before by opting for an intense smokey eye and oversized lashes on her upper and lower lash line. Gregory Arlt was behind Gwen’s retro look, and he really went for it by giving her long false lashes and exaggerated lashes along her lower lash line as well.
To get the look, create as soft or dramatic of a smokey eye as you like by using the new Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette. The palette has 15 shades of eyeshadow, 12 of which are wearable shades of champagnes and browns. Line your upper lash line with a liquid eyeliner like Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, then finish with several coats of black mascara, really emphasizing your bottom lashes.

Danilo, who has been styling Gwen’s hair all season, left her hair in a long, smooth style with loose waves at the end and soft, face-framing layers. Since we saw her just days before with shoulder-length platinum blonde hair and a touch of black dip-dye, we know it’s not long until Gwen’s back to her shorter style.
Gwen has had some major beauty moments throughout the season. Switching from her signature platinum blonde hair and bold red lip combo to more experimental looks like her long braids and top knot style and her black dip-dye look. We loved seeing what Gwen and her team would come up with each week.
