After a German version of the trailer for ‘Star Trek Beyond’ leaked on Dec. 14, Paramount finally released the English version – and it’s totally bad ass! Check out the thrilling new trailer right here.

It’s official! The third installment of the Star Trek reboot looks like it’s going to be just as epic as the first two. The new trailer dropped on Dec. 15 after if was leaked online in German the day before, and it has us super hyped for the new film. Watch the trailer, here!

The long awaited third installment of the Star Trek reboot finally has a trailer! We thought we would have to wait until Dec. 18, because it was supposed to run before the new Star Wars, but the internet helped us get the Star Trek Beyond clip a little earlier than we were supposed to. A German dubbed trailer leaked on Dec. 14, forcing Paramount to drop the American version on Dec. 15. You can watch the first two Star Trek reboots RIGHT HERE.

And we’re so happy they did! The movie looks like a total thrill ride, with chase scenes, explosions, and teleportation galore! The trailer definitely has a different vibe than the first two films, which were dark and brooding with a sense of doom. This one definitely teases an intense plot line of being stuck on a mystery planet for a mystery reason, but it’s still much more upbeat than the others. The trailer features the fun song “Sabotage” by the Beastie Boys, to give you an idea of how bouncy it is.

The change could be because producer J. J. Abrams, who directed the first two films, is stepping aside for the third. In his place, Justin Lin, director of several Fast & Furious movies stepped in. We’re excited to see where he takes the films, because it looks awesome! Plus we can’t NOT like it, since it’s two hours of Chris Pine sexiness. We’ll just have to wait until July 22, 2016 to find out more!
