Ah, Sam Hunt, you have slayed us once again! The breakout country star hit the stage on ‘The Voice’ finale Dec. 15 to sing his new single ‘Break Up In A Small Town,’ and it was absolutely perfect. Check it out right here!
Swoooooon! Sam Hunt is closing out one massive year, and he brought his act to The Voice stage to promote his newest hit “Break Up In A Small Town” on Dec. 15. He sounded great, looked great and had us falling in love with him once again — it was totally epic!
Of course, Sam was looking hotter than ever, even in his printed shirt, and the light show that went down as the beat dropped was totally epic. For the performance, he somewhat reenacted the song’s dramatic video by featuring flames firing up in the background and screens showing a blazing scene. And can we just discuss Sam Hunt in a hat with just the slightest bit of scruff? There’s just no words.
It’s been one HUGE year for Sam — he released his debut album, Montevallo, in 2014 and the lead single “Leave The Night On” was massive, but things really blew up when he put out the follow-up, “Take Your Time.” The 31-year-old made a name for himself quickly, and was even awarded New Artist of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards and American Music Awards. Not too shabby!
He followed up the first two hits with “House Party,” another jam that flew to No. 1 on the charts, and it looks like things won’t slow down anytime soon. “Break Up In A Small Town” has already reached No. 2 on the country charts, he’s nominated for two Grammy Awards, and he’s hitting the road with two major stars, Kenny Chesney and Miranda Lambert, next summer.
Interestingly, Miranda just got divorced from The Voice coach, Blake Shelton, over the summer, and HollywoodLife.com has heard that things have already gotten a little flirty between the 32-year-old and Sam! “They have developed a solid friendship and love flirting with each other,” an insider told us EXCLUSIVELY. “He’s definitely helping her move on from Blake and that whole heartbreak.” Hmm…hopefully things didn’t get too awkward between Sam and Blake at the show, then! and
HollywoodLifers, what did you think of Sam’s performance?
