The poster, released Dec. 15, finds all five girls — Aria, Hanna, Emily, Spencer and Alison — walking through a cemetery carrying a casket like it’s a piece of luggage. But wait, who is the unlucky person inside? Or is there even a body inside? We’ll have to wait until January 2016 to find out.
It was the show’s fans that helped get this new artwork released. PLL launched a “flock to unlock” campaign, where viewers were encouraged to tweet #PLLposter as many times as they could to get it to trend, and that it did! The ladies are definitely looking more mature and so totally glam thanks to the five-year time jump the series will now have in the second half of season six. We can’t wait for what the show has in store for them now that the characters are officially young adults! We got some hints in a teaser trailer that Ali is now a married teacher, Hanna appears to be engaged, a bar called The Radley is their new hang, and Ezra and Aria are totally hanging out again.
