All four artists in the Finals of Season 9 of ‘The Voice’ are incredible singers and performers, but there really is no doubt about who should be crowned the winner. Jordan Smith has taken the show by storm since the very first week, and it would be a complete upset and shock if he doesn’t get the title he deserves.
If all goes according to plan, Adam Levine will get his third win on The Voice tonight. The nine-time coach’s only remaining contestant, Jordan Smith, has a voice unlike any other singer out there right now, and even though he sang against some tough competition on the Dec. 14 episode, it’s clear he’s in a class of his own. And that’s why he absolutely needs to win this season of the hit NBC show!
Jordan performed on the very first episode of Season 9 back on Sept. 21, and from the second he belted out that first note of Sia’s “Chandelier” in his Blind Audition, it was impossible not to be hooked. He immediately became a frontrunner when he didn’t falter for one moment in his epic first performance, and all four coaches turned around.
Picking Adam as a coach proved to be a genius choice for Jordan. They worked together perfectly, and the powerhouse pop singer had no problem sticking around on his original coach’s team through the Live Playoffs. At that point, he proved that he had not only won over Adam, but the hearts of millions of viewers and voters all around America. For all six weeks of live shows, his songs made it into the Top 10 of iTunes, and it’s no question that he’s a fan favorite.
Sure, it may not be an epic story arc since Jordan has never had any trouble proving himself this season, like some of the other contestants might have. But that shouldn’t take away from how he’s shown time and time again how beyond incredible his voice is, which, at the end of the day, is what this show is all about.
As a country music fan, someone like fellow finalist Emily Ann Roberts is probably who I’d be more of a fan of, but there’s no denying that Jordan has a voice that is beyond comparison. It’s basically been a no-brainer all season long that he’ll win this show, and I’m confident after last night’s finale performances that that’s still the case. But, hey, don’t get me wrong — all four singers deserve to have music careers after the show ends!
HollywoodLifers, do you think Jordan will win The Voice? Who is your favorite singer?
