Donald Trump was heavily criticized by the other candidates at the Republican debate on Dec. 15 but he was especially by Jeb Bush right at the top of the debate when it came to Donald’s plan to ban Muslims from entering the United States!
Donald Trump, 69, came under fire by Jeb Bush and it was intense! The Republican debate took place at The Venetian hotel and casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and it was one slam after another and Jeb made sure to put Donald in his place by saying he’s threats are empty and that he’d be the worst President in history if he were elected because he “would not keep our country safe.”
It all happened when Wolf asked Jeb what he thought about Donald’s proposal to temporarily ban Muslims from entering the United States. Jeb took this opportunity to absolutely slam Donald: “Donald is great at the one-liners. But he’s a chaos candidate And he’d be a chaos president. He would not be the commander in chief we need to keep our country safe.” Donald did not go down without a fight, he responded by saying that he simply “Jeb doesn’t really believe I’m unhinged he said that very simply because he has failed in this campaign it’s been a total disaster, nobody cares…frankly i’m the most solid person up here …
He continued: “All I want to do is make America great again. I don’t want our country to be taken away from us and that’s what’s happening. The polices that we’ve suffered under other presidents has been a disaster for our country and Jeb in all fairness doesn’t believe that.”
Just a few minutes before Jeb slammed Donald, the real estate mogul was asked why he wants to put the ban against Muslims in place. “We are talking about security, our country is out of control I will build a wall [between US and Mexico] a great wall. People will not come in unless they come in illegally. [Muslims] are not coming to this country and if I am president and if Obama has brought some [Muslims] to this country, they are gone.”
Donald has been causing controversy left and right ever since he announced he was running for POTUS. But it was when he called for a “complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on” that put him at the center of this recent media firestorm.
HollywoodLifers, do you think everyone was being too mean to Trump?
