We’re so used to seeing Gwendoline Christie wearing no makeup as Brienne of Tarth on ‘Game Of Thrones’ but she looked absolutely amazing at the ‘Star Wars’ premiere, showing off why she is a huge star!
Gwendoline Christie, 37, gave herself a serious glam makeover for the Los Angeles Star Wars premiere! We spoke with her hairstylist and he’s dishing the how to on her gorgeous, textured bob!
Gwendoline wore a custom-made Oscar de la Renta top and skirt. Celebrity hairstylist John D told us about the inspiration for her hairstyle: “The impact of the outfit itself was so strong, we opted to keep the hair simple by creating a voluminous, sleek style with texture and definition.”
Here is the exact how to:
1. Apply TRESemmé Max the Volume Root Lifting Cream to the roots of clean, towel-dried hair and comb through to set the foundation for a voluminous look.
2. Using a flat bristle brush, blow dry hair for smooth strands and to encourage lift at the roots.
3. Once dry, use a flat iron to direct hair away from the face and create a sleek texture.
4. Finish the look with TRESemmé TRES Two Extra Firm Control Hairspray for all over hold. For a textured and defined effect, spray a small amount of hairspray on fingertips and pinch into the ends.”
Her hair color was done by celebrity colorist Corey Powell, based at the Sally Hershberger LA salon. The “winter white platinum hue” was inspired by Michelle Williams and Grace Kelly. To get the look, apply Balayage highlights and a b3 Brazilian Bond Builder, which keeps hair strong and healthy with added shine.
Her porcelain skin looked flawless with a pretty peach blush giving her a pop of color on her cheeks. Her makeup focused on a dark, smokey eye and her lips were a neutral pink. Gorgeous!
