There’s nothing the Final 4 contestants on ‘The Voice’ can do at this point except wait to see how America votes. But Emily Ann Roberts isn’t letting the stress get to her — because she already gained everything she’s wanted to from the show…and she gushed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY all about the finale!
Emily Ann Roberts is a class act! Following the Season 9 Finals of The Voice on Dec. 14, HollywoodLife.com caught up with the Team Blake Shelton finalist, and she dished all about working with the country singer, how “mind-blowing” it is to have made it this far, and so much more. Check it out here!
“I feel like a winner that a chair turned, and now that I’m in the Top 4, it’s blowing my mind,” the 17-year-old told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “I truly feel that I have gone further than I ever would have gone. I am really happy for this experience.” We love that Emily is keeping so calm despite all the pressure of tonight’s show!
During the Finals, all four remaining contestants sang two solo songs and one duet with their coach, the latter clearly being a highlight for Emily Ann, Barrett Baber, Jordan Smith and Jeffery Austin. “Blake is such an awesome mentor and just a friend,” Emily gushed. “He has been such a friend to me. It is just crazy to be on stage with him and singing with him in a recording studio was really fun.”
And even after weeks of working with the country star, Emily admitted there were still some butterflies. “I had to pinch myself!” she raved. “I was so excited but it was hard because Blake is so down to earth and a real person that he makes me feel so comfortable…but on stage, I was starstruck. But I am happy that I can be myself around him. It’s so great”!
With just one more episode left of the show, Emily Ann is getting ready to head back to her regular life in Tennessee — and she’s so excited for the most simple things you’d never expect. “I am really excited to sleep in my own bed, hang with my friends and go bowling,” she dished. “I want to play cards. I just want to really do some normal stuff. It will be crazy because I am here and sheltered and have such a busy schedule. It will be so weird not having a certain schedule and to where I can pretty much do anything I want. I won’t know when to brush my teeth or eat breakfast! So that will be crazy, but it will be great to be with my family during the holidays and slowly ease into everything! I am thankful that it is Christmas — it is such a time to have things slow down and have that family time that I have missed. I am looking forward to it.” Stay tuned right here to find out if Emily Ann wins The Voice tonight,
