Donald Trump took center stage at the fourth Republican presidential debate in Las Vegas and stood by his proposal to temporarily ban Muslims from entering the United States. But what he said this time might be even worse!
Donald Trump, 69, will not back down. The potential Republican presidential candidate attacked everyone as usual during the Republican presidential debate on Dec. 15 but this time he was questioned even harder on his stance when it comes to Muslims and he had some harsh words once again.
Donald brought the heat to The Venetian hotel and casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and it was intense. When Wolf Blitzer asked Trump to elaborate on his anti-Muslim stance, he did not back down.
“We are talking about security, our country is out of control I will build a wall [between US and Mexico] a great wall people will not come in unless they come in illegally,” Trump said as he stood by his previous sentiments. “They are not coming to this country and if I am president and if Obama has brought some [Muslims] to this country they are gone.”
Then Trump began going back and forth with Jeb Bush and Jeb said if Donald becomes President it would be pure chaos. They went back and forth and even though Jeb said that he does want to defeat terrorism, Donald said that Jeb will never be a good President: “We want to make America great again.”
Here’s a refresher of what caused such a controversy. Donald issued a statement saying he thought all Muslims should be banned from entering the United States “calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.” This enraged many people and when questioned by GMA‘s George Stephanopoulos Trump said: “We have people in our country that want to blow up this country. You know it and so do I. George we can take it sitting back, we will have many more World Trade Center [attacks]. It’ll only get worse. You look at Paris and I’m not talking about the horrible carnage that took place. Paris is no longer the same city, they have areas in Paris where the police refuse to go to because it’s so dangerous — we don’t want that for our country George, we have to figure it out.” Click here to listen to Donald’s outrageous interview on GMA.
Donald also said, “We are now at war. We have a president that doesn’t want to say that, but we are now at war.” Meanwhile, Donald is the frontrunner to become the nominee according to the polls.
