Jennifer Lawrence showed off one of our favorite tricks for more wide-awake eyes, and it happens to be perfectly festive for the holiday season! Get the details on her eye makeup secret and how you can copy it, too.
Jennifer Lawrence, 25, keeps a busy schedule, so it’s really no surprise that she needs a little makeup boost to give her eyes a more wide-awake appearance. The actress attended the NYC premiere of her movie, Joy, in a festive white Dior slip dress with the makeup to match. The film, which also stars Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper, is set to be released on Christmas day, so it only seems right that JLaw got into the holiday spirit with her look.

To match her winter white dress, Jennifer also sported a frosty white eyeshadow look with black eyeliner and a pearly pink lip. Not only did the shimmery white shadow make for a festive touch, when concentrated at the inner corner of the eyes like JLaw wore hers, it also serves to give them a brighter, more awake appearance — something we could all use as our hectic holiday schedules start catching up to us.
To get the look, you can apply your usual eyeshadows first and then use a white shadow like Dior Diorshow Fusion Mono Eyeshadow in Lune at the inner corners, or just stick to the shimmering shade by itself.
Wide-Awake Eyes — Copy Jennifer Lawrence’s Beauty Trick For A More Awake Appearance
Complete the look by lining your upper and lower lash lines with a black eyeliner like Dior Eyeliner Waterproof Pencil in Trinidad Black, only lining from the middle of your eye outwards and lightly blending towards the inner corners. Finish with a pale pink shimmery lip like Dior Addict Gloss in Sparkle.
Jennifer paired her pretty makeup look by styling her platinum blonde hair in textured waves that were parted off to the side — giving the whole look an effortless glam feel.
