The premiere for ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ was no doubt the hottest ticket in Tinseltown and it brought out every major celebrity fan of the film to its red carpet. They were treated to the first look at the most anticipated film of the year…oh heck, most anticipated film EVER!
The stars were out for the Hollywood premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and in addition to its brilliant cast, every celeb that was able to made sure to get a spot on the most coveted film red carpet of 2015. After all, what actor or actress hasn’t grown up seeing the amazing Star Wars trilogy? Stars of the film including Lupita Nyong’o, Billie Lourd and newcomer Daisy Ridley blew us away with their amazing style, as well as fans of the movie series such as Disney cutie Zendaya Coleman.
Scream Queens’ Billie was a natural for a part in the new film, after all her mom is none other than Princess Leia herself: Carrie Fisher. Mother and daughter posed together and Billie showed off her slamming fashion sense, with a black and cream striped mini-dress and a large embellished belt. Way to knock it out of the park on your debut movie film red carpet Billie!
The movie’s heroine, Daisy, looked stunning in a white Chloe dress with a lace top and tiers of flowing sheer fabric with white spots from her waist down. And we’ve come to expect nothing less than red carpet perfection from Lupita, who plays Maz Kanata in the film, and she delivered as always. The Oscar winner was simply gorgeous in a shiny silver and black gown that featured shimmering floral cutouts and black side paneling.
Attending celebs made sure to shine as bright as the movie’s stars, with Zendaya taking an amazing style risk in a simple gray, Michael Kors Collection turtleneck mini dress that featured a glittering silver overlay on the bottom. Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland wowed in a long-sleeved black sequin minidress while her co-star Sofia Vergara kept it simple in a sleevless LBD. She also had the best accessory of the night, her gorgeous new hubby Joe Manganiello. But Joseph Gordon-Levitt won the night coming dressed as Yoda, with green face and hand painting, a robe and little green Yoda years. Oh JGL, as if we didn’t have enough reasons to love you already!
