Chelsea will travel to The Foxes home turn of King Power Stadium for a dramatic Premier league match. After a poor season, Chelsea needs a victory – badly! They’re currently one point above the relegation zone, reports Bleacher Report. Could Chelsea be eliminated from the Premier League? Manager Jose Mourinho has acknowledged the dire situation his squad is in, telling reporters, “We are where we are because we are doing badly.”
“We have the same potential as last season,” Jose added, “The same manger, same players, so if we are where we are, it’s because we’re are underperforming.” No kidding! The last time Chelsea visited the Foxes, Leicester were trying to stay in the Premier league while The Blues were going for the title!
The turnaround is a pleasant surprise for Leicester City supporters. The team is only two points ahead of Arsenal, but at the moment, they’re on top of the world (and the standings.) Jamie Vardy has been on a hot streak, helping Leicester City’s eight match winning streak. His amazing skills were why he was named Player of the Month, reports Heavy.com, with Leicester’s Claudio Ranieri winning Manager of the month.
Though Chelsea is considering the favorites by Daily Mail, they have to keep their heads in the game or they’ll be upset — again! The Blues lost to the Bournemouth Cherries, who beat the defending champions 1-0 during their match up on Dec. 5. Will Leicester City send Chelsea home with another loss, or will the Blues finally wake up this season?
