Boom! It took Conor McGregor, 27, only 13 seconds to defeat Jose Aldo, 29, in one of the most highly-anticipated UFC fights in years on Dec. 13, and you can see his brutal knockout punch in this brilliant clip!

Watch as Jose lunges into attack, while Conor just sucker punches his opponent with a left-hand smash to the chin, knocking Aldo out before he even hit the mat. Just to make sure, Conor mounted his opponent and got in two more vicious slaps before the referee jumped in and stopped the fight.

Most UFC fans did not see this coming, with some believing Jose would come out on top. But his Irish counterpart had other ideas and really lived up to the billing as the man of the moment in the UFC.

In winning the fight, McGregor, nicknamed “The Notorious,” became the UFC Featherweight Champion. He did that with the fastest finish in any UFC title fight ever, which shows you just how impressive this KO was.

HollywoodLife.com talked EXCLUSIVELY to Conor before the fight, and he was certain he would win. “What is in my head is victory. I must strike, evade, strike, press and finish. This is a war that is in my head. I will be an animal in there. My mind is on the job! Everyone else is a watered down version of myself. I will perform. I will win,” Conor told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

Conor previously stated, “My dream is to be world champion of the UFC, have more money than I know what to do with – and I will be… guarantee it.” Well, he was right! He also confidently said, “This fight will be decided by the four-minute mark of the first round. Anything beyond that will be a mere formality. I just don’t see him answering the bell for the second round. I can’t see his face or his body at the beginning of the second round. I see him KO’d inside one.”
