She’s ‘Confident,’ but also a little clumsy! Demi Lovato took a major spill after her set at Jingle Ball in NYC, but it’s okay, she was totally cool for the winter. Click through to watch her epically tumble onstage!
Ouch! Demi Lovato gave a new meaning to “stage dive” after her set at the Z-100 Jingle Ball in NYC on December 11, when she tripped over a mic stand and wound up on the ground. But she took it all in stride like a true professional. We know you want to see it, though! Click through to watch the fall!
So we’re not the most graceful bunch, but we’re lucky enough not to have our spills broadcast over a live stream. Can you imagine? Demi was finishing up an incredible 23 minute set, which concluded with her hit “Cool For the Summer.” Her insane voice is totally on point for the end of the show, with soaring high notes and vocal runs. She’s just about to leave stage, thanks the audience and tells them goodbye. Someone spoke too soon!
The camera actually cuts away at the pivotal moment, but it’s clear what happened. Demi’s lying on the stage, with a mic stand toppled behind her. Rocking the stage and kicking the stand over, then forgetting it’s there…not a good combo. The poor thing is trapped on her back, arms and legs flailing like a overturned turtle. Luckily, one of her musicians is there to help her up and escort off stage. You can buy Demi’s album RIGHT HERE!
Demi wasn’t too fazed by the incident. She tweeted about it later that night, writing “Guys don’t you get it by now? Only cool kids fall on stage,” along with that emoji wearing shades. Nice save, Demi! While the fall was what a lot of people focused on after her set, which is a shame, we’re recognizing how gorgeous she looked, too!
At the NYC Jingle Ball, Demi kept her hair wavy, and paired thigh-high boots with a black bra top and matching high-waisted hot pants. It’s a look Demi’s worn a lot onstage, but it never gets old — especially when she looks that good in it! Clumsy or not, we can’t wait to see what Demi’s doing next!
