Watch out, James Corden, 37. Justin Bieber’s giving you a run for your money. The “Purpose” singer, 21, surprised everyone when he read the Late Late Show’s opening monologue on Dec. 11. Justin was so funny and looked hotter than ever. Hey, if he wants to take a break from music, he could always become a late night host!

The show announced James to start the show, but it was Justin who walked out from behind the curtains! He looked super sharp with his hair slicked back, showing off his new angel wings tattoo. The ladies in the audience screamed when they saw Justin.

Justin read James’ opening monologue, taking funny jabs at President Obama, Hillary Clinton and Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer. Suddenly, James ran out in just a towel! He was busy getting ready for a bath when he heard his music playing. Justin told James he was “sorry,” but revealed there was more to the story.

“I really just want to host my own late night show,” Justin said to James. “Well, go and get your own show!” James yelled back. James told Justin to “back off” and stop trying to steal his show. Justin looked a little hurt and asked if he could just host the show for one night. James wasn’t into that.

Justin was on the verge of tears, but James was being very serious. He told Justin to get out — all in fun, of course! Justin showed off his ultimate puppy dog eyes, and James had no choice but to give in. He let Justin roll the Late Late Show titles! So cute!
