Talk about jealous! A group of 100 super fans got a special acoustic performance by none other than Taylor Swift! The singer put on an intimate show of her ‘1989′ songs for an Australian radio station with nothing more than her guitar — see the videos!
Taylor Swift, 25, proved yet again just how amazing she is by singing acoustic versions of her 1989 songs to a small group of Swifties. Nova 96.9, a radio station all the way down under on Australia’s Hamilton Island, put on a small, private concert where Taylor used nothing but her amazing vocals and guitar to entertain her fans.
Whoever told Taylor she can’t sing in her popular hit, “Mean,” will be eating their words after they watch the pop star’s performance in front of the small crowd. “Out Of The Woods,” “Shake It Off” and “Blank Space” were a few of the songs Taylor belted out in her awe inspiring show. Wearing a sheer, white lace romper, the rows of admirers screamed and cheered as Taylor sang her heart out. CLICK TO WATCH VIDEOS OF TAYLOR SING!
It wasn’t just the fans who were stoked on the performance either. “It’s a small room, it’s different… this tour has been amazing, it’s been a stadium tour, so you look out and the crowd is like endless, which is wonderful, but this is also really nice too,” Taylor said.
Taylor, who just won the BBC Music Award for International Artist of the Year, then went on to play “Wildest Dreams,” but not before describing it a bit first. “It was a song about a place in my life where I was very fatalist, I had a very fatalist idea of love and was clearly just in a very bad mood,” Taylor said. “I was like, ‘Love just ends, it’s not a question of will we break up, it’s when will we break up.’ It was one of those days. But you know, I got a good song out of it.”
