Rihanna, 27, had another major fashion and beauty moment at her Diamond Ball held in Los Angeles. The December 10 black-tie event marks Rihanna’s second annual ball, which benefits the Clara Lionel Foundation that she founded 2012 in honor of her grandparents. For the dressed-up occasion, Rihanna glittered in a gold gown and understated beauty look.

Rihanna’s hair magically grew to Rapunzel-like lengths for the Diamond Ball, and she wore it slicked back at the crown of her head to keep it off of her face. Neither curly nor completely straight, Rihanna’s dark locks had a natural bend to them and were slightly flipped out on the ends.
Meanwhile, her makeup was more classic with a black cat eye, bronzey eyeshadow and matte nude lip that you can copy with Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Pure Hollywood. Rihanna also matched her sparkly gold dress by adding a golden highlighter like Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Ballerina along her cheekbones and brow bones to complete her look.

Rihanna named the foundation after her grandmother and grandfather, with proceeds going towards promoting health, education, arts and culture globally. As part of the foundation’s efforts, Rihanna founded the Clara Brathwaite Center for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine in Barbados, and last year’s Diamond Ball helped raise over $2 million in support of the cancer treatment center.
Her charitable work isn’t the only way Rihanna has been making a difference. Earlier this year, the beauty fanatic also announced the start of her own agency, Fr8me, which helps makeup artists, hairstylists, manicurists and photographers book more work.
