“For Lea’s cut, we choose to go with a more blunt edge. She wanted the look to be heavy with more weight at her ends and light layers that framed her face. We parted her hair in the center to keep her finished look modern and fresh. To get this look, tell your stylist to keep your ends extremely blunt and highlight your face with soft layers, that aren’t too harsh.”
Lona continued: “This cut is very versatile and looks good on almost all faces; The trick is to adjust the length based on the shape of your face. If you have a longer face take the length up a few inches to your chin, but if your face is more round, it is best to keep the length longer than your jawline.”
To get Lea’s flawless style, Lona says: “Style this look with undone waves and use a light hold hairspray that allows your hair to move. I love the Nexxus New York Salon Care Comb Thru Finishing Mist.”
Like any blunt cut, it does take some commitment to maintenance. “To maintain this style, I recommend getting a cut every 6 weeks to keep the ends choppy and fresh.”
