Kristin looked to be running errands in her neighborhood in Chicago, or at least taking a long walk to clear her mind on Thursday, December 10. It was the hours after she likely discovered that her brother Michael had been found dead after being missing for weeks, and the gravity of the situation played out on her face. Looking on the verge of tears as she walked about, the photos of Kristin are absolutely heartbreaking. CLICK HERE to see them.
Bundled up in a parka, beanie and leggings, Kristin walked slowly, keeping her hands in her pockets and her focus on her feet as she struggled not to cry. We can’t imagine the agony that she was experiencing at this moment. It was a brutal, horrifying day that changed Kristin and her family’s lives forever. That same day, she posted a beautiful message to her departed brother on Instagram.
A throwback picture of her and Michael as toddlers, she captioned the sweet picture with a heartfelt message: “My heart is in a million pieces,” Kristin wrote. “Mikey, I could always count on you to make me laugh. You had such a good heart and will be forever missed. I’m at a loss for words but I know u are in a better place and finally at peace. I love u so much RIP.”
Michael’s car was found abandoned near the side of the I-70 highway in Utah on November 27. He was reported missing on December 5, and a long search ensued. Tragically, his body was discovered in the same area as the car, “on a very steep slope,” according to authorities.
Our thoughts are with Kristin and her family during this difficult time. HollywoodLifers, help us send our condolences in the comments section below.
