So touching. Jay Cutler, quarterback for the Chicago Bears, plans to dedicate this Dec. 13 game to the passing of his brother-in-law Michael Cavallari. HollywoodLife.com has learned the EXCLUSIVE details on the heartfelt tribute Jay has in mind.
Our hearts are breaking for Kristin Cavallari, 28, following the devastating news of the death of her 30-year-old brother Michael Cavallari. As a show of love and support, her NFL star husband Jay Cutler, 32, plans to dedicate his upcoming game on Dec. 13 in Michael’s memory. HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE details behind his super touching plans.
“Jay is going to risk getting fined by the NFL by putting Michael’s initials either on his arm or cleats and he is dedicating the game to him this weekend,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He is going to have Michael close to his heart and hopes it gives him strength to have a great performance and a Bears win in his honor,” our insider continued.
The former reality star got the tragic news Dec. 10 that her beloved brother’s body had been found, days after his mysterious disappearance on Nov. 27 in a remote area of southeastern Utah. Kristin had been hoping and praying for a better outcome that unfortunately never came. She poured out her feelings via Instagram by sharing a childhood photo of the brother and sister side-by-side, noting, “My heart is in a million pieces. Mikey, I could always count on you to make me laugh. You had such a good heart and will be forever missed.” How devastating!
The timing is especially tough for Jay and Kristin as they recently had such joyous news, welcoming their first daughter, Saylor James on Nov. 23. What should be a festive first Christmas with the newest addition to their family is going to be a much tougher time with the sudden loss of her brother.
The Bears vs. Redskins game will appear on FOX on Sunday, Dec. 13 at 1 PM EST. The touching tribute is one we won’t miss.
Our deepest condolences go out to Kristin and her family in this tragic time.
