Short hair, don’t care! That’s definitely the motto Emma Watson, 25, appears to be living by as of late, after debuting a much shorter new do on Dec. 8. The British beauty was spotted rocking her trendy, new bob cut while attending a screening for the documentary The True Cost in London and if you ask us, this may just be her best look yet!

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Emma rocking short hair, but it appears all of that has changed as the Beauty and the Beast star has just chopped her hair into a gorgeous new do — an asymmetrical, chin-grazing, textured bob! The actress’s publicist, Luke Windsor, was the first to reveal the new style, taking to Twitter to post a close-up shot along with the caption,”Amazing woman. Amazing new hair.” Obviously, Emma can pull off any hairstyle she chooses, but we can’t help but think that this one is particularly stunning. The style perfectly frames her face, and feels totally on-trend for the season.
In addition to her shorter hair, it looks like she may have also lightened it with some subtle highlights.Whatever she did, it’s most definitely working for her! Winter is usually the time to grow out your hair, but Emma just convinced us that a bold chop is timelessly beautiful.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Emma has sported short hair. After becoming known for her natural curls during her Harry Potter days, Emma made the bold decision to chop off all of her hair in favor of an adorable pixie cut in 2010.
“If I had my way, I would have just kept it short forever,” she told Glamour in September 2012 of her pixie. “Of course, men like long hair. There’s no two ways about it. The majority of the boys around me were like, ‘Why did you do that? That’s such an error.’ And I was like, ‘Well, honestly, I don’t really care what you think!’ I’ve never felt so confident as I did with short hair — I felt really good in my own skin.”
