Victoria’s Secret Model Sara Sampaio Reveals Diet Secrets Before Fashion Show

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show airs on Dec. 8, and in addition to lusting over the amazing bras and wings, we'll be seriously envying the long legs and sexy walks of the models! Luckily, Victoria's Secret model Sara Sampaio, 24, is spilling some supermodel secrets EXCLUSIVELY to! Get her tips for walking in heels and see what she completely cut from her diet before the show -- hint, three major food groups!

Sara told us how hard she works for her strong, lean body: “I work out 2 to 3 days a week, but for the show I will do more. I work out with a personal trainer and also do Pilates.”

The secret to walking in super high heels? “Make sure to train your legs and ankles. You need to be strong to handle long hours in heels and so you can walk powerfully without falling.”

Walking in lingerie in front of tons of people and a bunch of cameras isn’t easy, so Sara also told us her confidence secrets:

“Remembering how far I’ve come and how much I’ve achieved. Stopping to put things in perspective helps me when I’m feeling less confident. Also putting on a pair of Victoria’s Secret black lace panties always helps for a confidence boost!”

Victoria’s Secret Diet — How Models Prepare For The VS Show

Sara told us how she changed her diet leading up to the show:

“I used to not change my diet at all, but this year I decided to try something different and went to a nutritionist for direction. I wanted to build more muscle, so I went on a protein heavy diet for the 10 days leading up to the show — no sugar, no carbs and no dairy. It definitely worked because I felt how strong my body was after those 10 days. It wasn’t easy though! I love pizza, bread, pasta and candy, so cutting all of that out was very hard.”
