The Weeknd has just dropped his super intense new video for ‘In The Night’ and all we’ve got to say is WOW! It stars his girlfriend Bella Hadid who looks totally stunning, even if her character has a violent night ahead of her.

Thank you The Weeknd! The 25-year-old Grammy nominee — who’s real name is Abel Tesfaye – gifted us with a completely epic music video for “In The Night” on Dec. 8, which clocks in at a mega six minutes and 37 seconds. Shot in Brooklyn, the video was directed by duo BRTHR, and prominently stars Abel’s girlfriend Bella Hadid, 19. While the song’s tempo is upbeat, the violent and intense video most certainly is not so you’ve been warned!

The revenge video begins Bella is seen in the red lights of a scary strip club. An ominous man is seen slowly smoking a cigarette in the doorway and it’d pretty much a foregone conclusion he’s up to no good. Meanwhile while The Weeknd  is shown singing many of his choruses alone outside in the dark with rain pouring down.

At the 3:23 mark the music stops and the video goes into a series of super quick cuts inside a scary warehouse with a bloodied floor and men pointing guns and brass knuckles at the camera as cash rains down upon them. But then it suddenly cuts to Bella’s character slashing a man’s throat then standing above him with a bloody knife. Yikes!

At the 4:17 mark his song comes back on and the strippers start murdering the clients inside their club, including violently stabbing one in the chest while suffocating another with a plastic bag. The music soon stops again and someone puts a gun to The Weeknd’s head at point-blank range but it fails to fire. The camera pans and it’s the smoking man who’s trying to kill him!

But out of the warehouse a gun is fired and the bullet hits him in the head, thus saving The Weeknd from a terrible fate. It was Bella who fired it! She then comes out wearing a kinky red leotard and thigh high boots and hops aboard the back of his motorcycle as they drive away. If you’d like to see Abel in a much more upbeat place, he’ll be performing a sexy rendition of “In The Night” as well as everyone’s favorite hit, “Can’t Feel My Face,” on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, airing on CBS Dec. 8 at 10pm EST

So HollywoodLifers, what do you think of The Weeknd’s new video? Pretty intense, huh!
