Can you believe FIVE contestants will be eliminated on tonight’s episode of ‘The Voice’?! The field will be narrowed down to four singers, and after a lot of thinking, I’ve finally decided who I think is most deserving of moving on to the finals. Check out my Top 4 picks right here!
This was NOT an easy decision! All the singers really brought it on the Dec. 7 episode of The Voice, but only four can move on to the finals — and some of my picks may shock you. Don’t worry, I’ll break it all down for you though — find out my ideal Top 4 here!
Jordan Smith (Team Adam): This one’s a no-brainer, right? Fans of the show have been buzzing about Jordan since the VERY first episode when he crushed his Blind Audition performance of Sia’s “Chandelier,” and he hasn’t faltered since. Adam Levine’s powerhouse singer sings flawlessly week after week, and his decision to change things up a bit by performing “Somebody To Love” in the Semifinals was absolute perfection. It will certainly be NO surprise if this guy takes home the whole thing!
Emily Ann Roberts (Team Blake): I’ve made no secret of the fact that Emily Ann has been my favorite for a while now, but to me, she really solidified her spot this week with her rendition of Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5.” Emily already sounds and looks like a country star, and she stood out against most of her other competitors on Monday’s show. I’ll definitely be most upset if this prediction is wrong!
Madi Davis (Team Pharell): She’s been Pharrell’s only artist left standing for two weeks now, and at just 16 years old, Madi has beyond held her own up there. The way she’s able to make songs her own is SO admirable, and her unique but gorgeous voice made quite the statement when she sang “Big Girls Don’t Cry” in the Semifinals.
Braiden Sunshine (Team Gwen): This one might be a little surprising to some of you! Braiden was actually almost eliminated just last week, but luckily got pushed through by America thanks to the Instant Save, and I really felt he could not have done a better job at redeeming himself during his second chance. I was totally in awe at how hard he worked in the rehearsal footage to make his performance of “Amazing Grace” the best it could be, and he deserves to be rewarded with America’s votes for how great he sounded after a little setback.
So, there’s my Top 4 picks — one from each coach’s team, interestingly! I will point out, though, that Amy Vachal, from Adam’s team, has seemed to be a real fan favorite over the last several weeks, so I wouldn’t be surprised if she takes one of the spots, and Jeffery Austin seemed to really have the audience mesmerized last night. No matter what, it’s going to be a tough decision, and all nine remaining singers are SO good, so it’s bound to be an amazing finale on Dec. 14. Stay tuned to find out everything that goes down, and in the meantime,
HollywoodLifers, who do you think should make the finals?! And who is your pick to win it all this season?
