‘The Voice’: Emily Ann Roberts Plays It Cool Before Intense Results Show — I’ve ‘Done’ All I Can

There’s SO much pressure for the nine Semifinalists on ‘The Voice’ on the live Dec. 8 episode, but Emily Ann Roberts isn’t letting it get to her! The country cutie from Blake Shelton’s team dished to EXCLUSIVELY about how she’s able to push the anxiety aside on such a nerve-racking night.

The are NINE contestants left on Season 9 of The Voice…but only four will be voted through to the finals tonight. Emily Ann Roberts is a fan-favorite vying for one of those spots, and got the EXCLUSIVE scoop straight from her about what goes through one’s mind on such a crazily intense night!

“There is no way to prepare at all!” Emily Ann tells EXCLUSIVELY. “We have done all that we can do, and it will be nerve-racking on stage, but, you know…whatever happens happens. With all nine of us, we are all winners!” After going through this competition for weeks now, the 17-year-old has found a way to deal with the anxiety and always stay positive.

“We could fret over tons of things,” she adds. “But what I have learned, especially going through all these live shows, what I have taken from it is that you can control your performance and you can ask your fans to vote for you, but at the end of the day, you have done what you can do, and it is out of your control. It is in America’s hands and the Lord’s hands. And I [just] try to control what I can control.”

Emily Ann gave an incredible rendition of Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” while performing on the Dec. 7 episode, which was an especially big feat because the country legend herself will there as a guest performer tonight! “I pray that I did her justice,” Emily Ann gushed. “I had fun, so I am really excited!”

The blonde beauty is one of my picks to make it to the finals, so I’ll REALLY be crossing my fingers during the elimination episode later tonight. But, of course, with all the talent left on this show, anything could happen, so make sure you check right after the show to find out who’s moving on!

HollywoodLifers, are you a fan of Emily Ann? Do you think she’ll win the show?
