Did Justin Bieber throw shade at Selena Gomez in front of thousands of screaming fans? After performing his song ‘Love Yourself’ at Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball, he may have hinted that Selena wasn’t the best girlfriend! See what he said below!
Justin Bieber, 21, has been pretty vocal about his thoughts on his ex Selena Gomez, 23, but this time he might have been totally dissing her! He performed his shade-throwing track, “Love Yourself,” at Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball in London Dec. 6, and quickly admitted to the crowd that he hasn’t dated the best girls. Was he talking about Selena too? Fans are certainly debating!
A fan who attended the show posted an Instagram with what Justin told the crowd following his “Love Yourself” performance. Although there is no video proof of the comment, Justin apparently said, “I gotta start bringing better girls home to my mom.” This was supposedly a transition to his song “Home To Mama,” but that didn’t stop fans from speculating that he was referring to Selena! While one fan pointed out that Justin’s mom, Patti Mallette, has said she will always love Selena, another commented that JB’s words don’t match his actions. In fact, JB has admitted he will always love Sel himself! And considering they were recently spotted on a romantic date kissing and holding hands, it’s kind of hard to believe he’d be referring to Selena in such a major diss!
Then again, Selena was reportedly seen making out with Justin’s One Direction bud Niall Horan just two days before his onstage shade throwing, so maybe that was his way of declaring that he’s disgusted with her actions? But before he took the stage in London, though, The Biebs posted a throwback picture of him and Selena holding hands. Who knows what this boy is thinking!
As soon as we heard “Love Yourself,” we knew Justin definitely had some bad blood with an ex. He even says in the song’s chorus, “My momma don’t like you and she likes everyone,” so the song is clearly about someone he regrets introducing to Patti. But even though he had no fear admitting that to a live audience, he didn’t get specific enough for us to figure out who he’s dissing! Unfortunately for Beliebers, it seems we’re still left wondering if this shade throwing is directed at Selena!
