Kanye West could not be more thrilled with his new baby boy, and he was right there by Kim Kardashian’s side as their little one came into the world. HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE details about what he did to support Kim in the delivery room!

Kanye West, 38, is one proud papa, as he and wife Kim Kardashian, 35, welcomed their first son into the world on Dec. 5. He now has his precious boy and he can’t stop smiling over finally having his own mini-me. The new father was right there with Kim as their baby was born and HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE details of what he did to help make her delivery as joyous as possible!

“Kanye was by her side in the delivery room and held her hand through the whole process,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He can’t stop beaming, he’s so happy right now.” We’re SO thrilled for the couple and the latest addition to their family, and we can’t wait to see the first pics of baby boy West!

We were greeted with the news bright and early on Dec. 5 that, “Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West, welcomed the arrival of their son this morning. Mother and son are doing well,” Kim announced on her website KimKardashianWest.com. It must have come as such a relief for the reality star after she had a complicated pregnancy where her baby ended up in the breach position, which would have required a cesarean section birth that she desperately wanted to avoid. Check out Kim and her family on Keeping Up With The Kardashians via Amazon NOW!

The reality star underwent a painful procedure to get her son’s position back in place in her uterus, which she revealed shortly after Thanksgiving. She shared with fans that doctors were able to manually turn the baby from a breach position to a head-down position.

“They gave me an IV with medication to relax my uterus, and then three doctors attempted to work together to turn the baby. There was a risk that my water might break or the baby’s heart rate could drop — in which case, an emergency C-section would then take place. I went in with my sisters and my husband. I was prepared for it all! They don’t give you any pain medication, and let me tell you: This was soooooo painful. Probably more painful than childbirth. BUT it worked!!! My baby is in the right position and it feels so good to not have the stress of thinking I need a C-section.”

We’re so thrilled the delivery went well and that mother, son and proud papa Kanye are all doing well! Congratulations to the happy family.
