Dr. Phil and his wife Robin McGraw know that the number of sexual assaults on passengers in ‘ride-hailing’ apps is on the rise and they want to do something to stop this now!

Finally, an app that allows you to do some good! Dr. Phil McGraw and his wife Robin McGraw have teamed up with the National Limousine Association (NLA) and When Georgia Smiled: The Robin McGraw Revelation Foundation (WGS) to create The Aspire Initiative to combat sexual assault. You can help too by simply downloading the app today!

Robin announced the partnership in a video message on her Foundation’s Facebook timeline which you can see by clicking here!

“Hailing a private driver, unfortunately, does not always come without risk and I am so proud that my foundation, When Georgia Smiled, has partnered with Ride Responsibly to further broaden our reach, increasing passenger safety and awareness,” Robin said in a statement. “We are proud to be a part of this vital initiative to keep our roads and our citizens well-informed and, ultimately, safer.”

The Aspire Initiative app is available as a free download on Google Play and here! The user can then create a prewritten text or voice message that can be sent to 911 or another contact with the tap of a button. Also, if you hit the app’s “go button” it starts to record whatever is happening in that moment via your device.

“This alliance is a necessary step in our deeper commitment to fight violence and sexual assault. We are proud to partner with When Georgia Smiled and Aspire, educating the public of the help available at their fingertips, when they need it most,” NLA President Gary Buffo said. “With an alarming number of recently-reported sexual assault cases involving ride-hailing drivers, it is an imperative initiative to provide safety to those who find themselves in danger.”
