Kris Jenner: Yes, Rob Kardashian Was At Family Thanksgiving — Why He Wasn’t In Pictures

When the Kardashian/Jenner clan congregated at Khloe Kardashian’s Calabasas home for Thanksgiving we couldn’t help but notice that someone was missing: Rob Kardashian! Now, Kris Jenner is finally speaking out, revealing the truth behind her son’s shocking absence.

Scott Disick, Caitlyn Jenner, Corey Gamble, Tyga — it seemed that just about everyone was present for the Kardashians’s “blended” Thanksgiving feast on Nov. 26, that is, everyone except one: Rob Kardashian! The famously reclusive brother was missing from the family’s smiling turkey day pic, despite being at the holiday party, and now we know why! Kris Jenner has finally revealed why Rob wasn’t in the group photo, the answer of which just may surprise you!

Though he wasn’t pictured in the “blended family” holiday portrait everyone shared on social media, Kris revealed during SiriusXM’s Conversations with Maria Menounos on Dec. 2 that Rob was indeed there for the family celebration. “He lives with Khloe,” Kris explained. “So he was around, and then went over to a buddy’s house. He’s doing all right. You know, he’s doing his best. He’s not into being on camera as much as the rest of us. But he’s working on himself. He’s going to be okay.” Good to know!

Of course, Rob’s absence wasn’t terribly surprising, given his low profile as of late. The former reality star has been working hard to lose the excessive weight he’s packed on in the past couple of years, which is said to be one of the main reasons why he’s kept himself out of the spotlight. Though he hasn’t stepped out publicly in some time, Rob has sporadically shared pictures of himself on Instagram — a practice Kris is clearly all for!  “I know, [it’s like], ‘Come back, where are you?’ ” she told Maria of her son’s social media snaps. “He’s so cute.”

Unfortunately, those hoping to see Rob in the family’s annual Christmas card will be sorely disappointed. “Rob is still struggling, he’s made progress but he still isn’t comfortable being seen in public,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY on Nov. 18. “He doesn’t want to be on their Christmas card, he’s said he won’t do it this year, it’s causing a lot of drama.” Hopefully by 2016 we’ll get to see him all gussied up on the Christmas card with the rest of his family.

HollywoodLifers, were you upset Rob didn’t pose for the Kardashians’s Thanksgiving photo?
