“Robert and FKA Twigs were supposed to get married this year,” a source closed to R-Patz EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com. “That was the plan, but his indecision over the situation has caused a delay.” After all the displays of love between these two, where’s all this “indecision” coming from? Turns out, it’s Rob’s family, as the source says they “planted a seed in his head, questioning whether Twigs is the right person he should be settling down with.”
Rob’s having second thoughts? After squashing all those breakup rumors? Bummer. Plus, Rob is hesitating because there’s the matter of the wedding. Rob’s kin “are quite traditional,” the source tells HollywoodLife.com, noting that they “would want a church wedding, but Rob doesn’t want such a fuss.” As for what Twigs wants? She’s “happy to go along with what he wants,” because the source says “she’s laid back about the whole affair.”
What Rob really wants, it seems, is for his family to support him. “He just wants to make sure everyone in his family is on the same page,” the source says. “It’s like, even after all this time, he still has to convince them that Twigs is the right girl for him.”
While the wedding has stalled, it’s not like Rob and FKA are calling things off. “Friends that know the pair, and how much Rob and Twigs care about each other, believe they will eventually walk down the aisle,” the source tells HollywoodLife.com. Phew! However, as to when they’re going to tie the knot, well — don’t hold your breath. “They can’t put a timescale on it,” the source adds, “because Rob is just so flaky about that. It’ll happen when it happens.”
