So heartbreaking! Sandra Bullock is now a proud mom of two, but she wasn’t always confident in her ability to bring another child into her family. She revealed that she was afraid she wouldn’t be able to love another baby as much as her first!
Sandra Bullock, 51, has confirmed the adoption rumors: Laila, 3, is the newest member of the Bullock family! However, Sandra spilled in a new, heartfelt interview on Dec. 2 that she wasn’t totally confident in herself that she could love another child as much as her son Louis, 5. Of course, the story has a happy ending — read on to see exactly what Sandy had to say!
“I was so scared that I couldn’t love another child as much as I love Louis, that I didn’t deserve to bring another child into my home,” Sandra confessed in an exclusive interview with People magazine. “And then Laila arrived. Not only did I grow another heart instantly, but I fell in love with Louis even more. They were meant to be together. It’s like they have always been together.” That is SO sweet. It’s safe to say that there won’t be any sibling rivalry here, due to their “inseparable bond”, as Sandra put it!
Laila, pronounced “Lila”, is from Louisiana. The toddler was in foster care before Sandy adopted her — and the mom is so glad she did. “When I look at Laila, there’s not doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here,” Sandra explained to People. “I can tell you, absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the exact right time.” BRB, dying over this family. Wait, the story gets even cuter: it was Louis’ idea for Sandra to adopt again! “Louis spearheaded this whole journey,” Sandra revealed to the mag. “I did remind him that it could be either a brother or a sister and that we would be so lucky to have either one. He did specify that he wanted a sibling who has some brown skin.” How adorable is this kid?
We’re so happy for them! HollywoodLifers, are you thrilled that Sandra has adopted another child?
