Who’s more excited for Christmas: us, or Carly Rae Jepsen? The ‘I Really Like You’ singer did an incredible rendition of the holiday classic ‘Let It Snow’ at the Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting ceremony, and it definitely got us in the holiday spirit!
Carly Rae Jepsen, 30, has been counting down the days until she could perform at the historic Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting, held December 2 in NYC, and she finally got her time to shine in that winter wonderland. She took the stage in front of thousands to perform the old Christmas standard “Let It Snow,” and our hearts grew three sizes that day!
Carly took to the Rockefeller Center stage to perform a rousing rendition of everybody’s favorite holiday jam “Let It Snow,” and it was as adorable as everything else Carly does! The “Really Like You” singer looked breathtaking in a black gown baring insane cleavage, and her brand new super-short bangs! Then she surprised us by showing off yet another look. She went Mrs. Clause chic in a short red knit dress and some sexy lace gloves. We’re obsessed! The sexiness spread to her performance too, where she got a little flirty toward the end of “Let It Snow.” It was super cute, and we loved it.

Obviously, Carly was insanely excited to find out that she was invited to perform at the ceremony. She tweeted on November 24, “Oh tree of all trees! It’s that time of year. Performing at the #RockCenterXMAS tree lighting Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 8/7c on @NBC!” Rockefeller Center’s official account responded, saying, “Excited for you to join us this year!” How cool is that? The rest of the night was a lovely affair, as so many amazing stars and performers got together to celebrate the arrival of Rockefeller Center’s famed gigantic Christmas tree. This year’s beauty is an 89-year-old Norway Spruce, coming in at 10 tons and 78 feet tall! Can you imagine? As the lights were turned on, it was a mesmerizing sight — one of the most iconic New York moments. And Carly was there to make it happen!
