Awww…Blake Shelton is one proud boyfriend! He’s totally loving Gwen Stefani’s new song ‘Used To Love You,’ and he wants everyone to know it. The country singer couldn’t stop gushing over his lady’s success in a new interview — watch here!
Gwen Stefani has such a supportive man in her life! Even though she was clearly devastated by her divorce from Gavin Rossdale, the singer has found love again with Blake Shelton, and he is just SO proud of her. Check him out raving over his girlfriend right here!
The 46-year-old performed her breakup song “Used To Love You” on The Voice Nov. 30, and afterward, Blake gushed over how happy he is that the song is being received so well. “Right when she wrote the song she was playing it for all of her friends because it was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I put exactly what I wanted to say into a song.'” he explained to Extra. “Sometimes that’s hard — to put it exactly how you want to say it in a song when it’s that personal for you. So she was so excited that she got that out and then it ends up being the smash song it’s turning into. It’s not just this work of art and piece of her, it’s also turning into a smash.”
“She deserves it,” he added. “If you go through whatever she went through to write that song, at least she’s getting something good and positive out of it.” Awww…we totally agree, Blake — Gwen deserves all the success she’s gotten! Even though these two have never called each other “boyfriend/girlfriend” in public, they’ve made it clear that they’re totally into one another.
“I saw what she’s going to be wearing for the performance tonight — it’s stunning,” the 39-year-old said before Monday’s live show. “So beautiful.” Meanwhile, Gwen has gushed that she “loves” Blake on camera, and the two just can’t hide their affection for one another during commercial breaks on The Voice.
“Gwen is in the most free place that I feel like she’s ever been in since I’ve known her as a human being,” their fellow Voice coach, Pharrell, admitted. “Not just creatively, but as a human being, she’s floating right now. I’m grateful that Blake is smiling these days and inspired, as well, musically.” Well, you heard it from someone who witnesses these two in action every week…they’re definitely happier than ever!
