Nothing to be ‘Sorry’ about here! The Vamps covered Justin Bieber’s dancey hit in Radio 1’s Live Lounge, giving it an unexpected rock twist that is absolutely amazing! Watch their awesome rendition here!
Just when you thought Justin Bieber‘s jam “Sorry” couldn’t get any better, The Vamps did a version of it that will make you fall in love with the song all over again! When the Vamps guys stopped by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge on Nov. 30, they brought their instruments and their A-game to give one of the best Bieber covers we’ve ever heard!
The bouncy energy of “Sorry” is the perfect fit for The Vamps’ fun rock vibe. Between lead singer Brad Simpson‘s spot-on vocals, harmonies from Connor Ball and James McVey, and Tristan Evans‘ drum snaps, the guys totally nailed it. They even have female backup singers to do the techno sounds in the chorus! Plus, they put their own spin on the hit by adding an epic electric guitar solo. There’s no way JB won’t love this version!
While we’ve never seen a rock rendition of “Sorry” before The Vamps’, Justin has blown us away with his own performances of the song. He stripped it down for an acoustic version with Skrillex and sang his heart out performing the hit on the Today show and The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. But Justin sometimes doesn’t reach the high notes in the chorus, so that’s probably why The Vamps’ take on the song was so incredible — Brad completely owned them!
Clearly The Vamps love JB’s music, and hopefully Justin feels the same about their version of “Sorry.” Considering how The Vamps flawlessly covered The Biebs’ track, maybe they’ll be inspired to work together on a collab! Talk about unreal!
