OMG is Sia finally showing her face?! Of course, Ellen DeGeneres would be the one to attempt to take the singer’s wig off on television…but was she successful? Watch the video here to find out!
Come on out, Sia! The “Chandelier” singer covered her face, as usual, with a half black, half platinum blonde wig during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Dec. 1, and naturally, host Ellen DeGeneres really pushed her to show the viewers what’s under that fake hair. Did Sia give in?! Click inside to find out!
Womp womp…unfortunately Ellen was unsuccessful in pulling the wig off, and Sia couldn’t help but crack up as the comedienne struggled to unpin the mask from her face. Eventually, holiday music began playing, totally startling Ellen, and even she had to let out a giggle as someone dressed as a reindeer interrupted everything going on. Looks like Sia will remain covered up for now!
The 39-year-old has posed for photos without her face covered before, but for the most part, she likes to remain a mystery when making public appearances…especially on television. She hasn’t made any secrets about the decision to do so, though, and has explained that it’s done to help her lead a more private lifestyle despite her success.
“If anyone besides famous people knew what it was like to be a famous person, they would never want to be famous,” she’s explained. “Imagine the stereotypical, highly opinionated, completely uninformed mother-in-law character and apply it to every teenager with a computer in the entire world. Then add in all bored people, as well as people whose job it is to report on celebrities. Then, picture that creature, that force, criticizing you for an hour straight, once a day, every day, day after day.” She later expanded on this by adding, “I don’t want to be famous or recognizable.” Pretty simple!

HollywoodLifers, what do you think of Sia still not taking off her wig? Should she just do it already?
