Slay, Sia, slay! The singer totally owned the stage with her hit, ‘Alive,’ when she performed during the live results show of ‘The Voice’ on Dec. 1. This woman can do no wrong. Checkout her mind-blowing performance here!
The Dec. 1 episode of The Voice was all about which nine singers would be moving onto the Semifinals, but there was some time for a little fun, too! Sia brought the entertainment to the results show by singing her song “Alive” for the crowd, and it totally took some tension out of the anxiety-filled night. Her soaring vocals thrilled the audience as well as the coaches, who were all seen jamming along to it in their chairs. They even gave her a standing ovation when it was over.
As usual, the “Chandelier” singer kept her face shielded from the audience with a shoulder length wig that was half black and half white, keeping the performance solely focused on her voice and the song rather than what she looks like. Not like we could ever ignore that incredible voice! Isn’t Sia such a great example for these artists who made it on the The Voice without any of the judges knowing what they looked like!? The contestants all rushed on stage after her soaring finale to meet the legend, who truly is the definition of “The Voice.”
Sia kept her outfit simple with a long white shirt and a pair of black pants and boots. She capped off her look with a giant black bow on her head, which actually made for a killer accessory! Sia’s got a soft spot for bows as she’s been spotted wearing them both on and off stage, and we love the look on her.
Earlier in the day, the 39-year-old appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and the talk show host was THIS close to convincing her to take off her wig on television for the very first time! But, alas, Ellen was unsuccessful, and Sia kept the fake hair on her head during the interview and her performance…womp womp!
“It’s so that I can go Target and buy a hose if I want to, and/or if I’m in need of a restroom and I can’t find one, I can go by the side of the road,” the singer explained. “And nobody would be following me with a camera trying to get ‘the shot.'” Of course, this is nothing new: Sia has been open in the past about not wanting to deal with “fame,” but don’t worry, she shows her face once in a while — and it’s a damn gorgeous one, too!
