The first season of ‘Scream Queens’ is coming to a close, and we’re already looking ahead to season two. HollywoodLife.com spoke EXCLUSIVELY to Keke Palmer, and she revealed that she hopes to return and would love for next season’s theme to be ‘Summer Camp!’
Scream Queens is almost over, and we’re all upset about it. The show hasn’t been officially renewed yet, but everyone is thinking about the next season. Rumors have been swirling that Summer Camp will be next year’s theme, and HollywoodLife.com talked to Keke Palmer, 22, EXCLUSIVELY about that possibility, coming back to the show and more!
Fellow Scream Queen star Oliver Hudson let it slip that he thinks the theme for next season is Summer Camp. Keke loves that idea and feels like it would be a great theme for Ryan Murphy to “flip on its head.”
“I loved the idea of the Summer Camp. I love that because it reminds me of Jason [from Friday the 13th], it reminds me of horror movies that I grew up watching and loving. I just love how Ryan taps into that stuff – that nostalgic stuff, and then flips it on its head; so, I’m excited to see what he’ll do with it. It’ll be fun for me in general because it’s like living a horror movie but in a funny way.”
Keke is totally game for Scream Queens season two and hopes that Zayday will return. While she would love to still play Zayday, she wants the sassy character to continue to evolve.
“I hope Zayday would continue to be herself – growing of course, but somewhere managing things and organizing stuff to make sure everyone’s protected and cared for. Just being the mother hen – or I should say the aunt hen – she has a little bit more of an aunt vibe,” she told HollywoodLife.com.
Scream Queens airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on FOX. Catch up on the show by watching on Amazon!
