When the world looks at Kylie Jenner, it sees a young superstar on top of the world. What it doesn’t see are the worries and doubts she keeps hidden from the public. In a new interview, Kylie admits her daily struggles with anxiety before revealing her most dreaded fear.
It almost seems like nothing could possibly bother Kylie Jenner. The 18-year-old star of Keeping Up With the Kardashians has fortune, fame, a beautiful house and a successful make-up line. Yet, behind all her success, Kylie is an ordinary teenager, one that struggles every day to not break down in a nervous wreck!
“I wake up every morning with the worst anxiety. I don’t know why,” Kylie said during her conversation in the Dec/Jan double issue of INTERVIEW magazine. When asked what could possibly worry Kylie so badly, she revealed that she’s afraid of what people say about her!
“I have, like, a problem,” Kylie said before laughing. However, what she spoke about next was no joke. “I wake up every morning at, like, seven or eight because I think that there’s a bad story about me, and I have to check. My worst fear is waking up and finding something bad about me on the Internet.”
It’s no surprise that Kylie’s worst fear is being bullied online by heartless and cruel remarks – but it’s still very sad. Kylie admitted she has been bullied since she was 9-years-old during a personal video in June. She showed her support for Anti-Bullying day with a distinctive fashion choice, and she openly admired anti-bully activity Lizzie Velasquez before admitting her own bullies make her breakdown and cry!
Kylie could avoid the bullies by not reading the comments or articles, but she doesn’t want to be limited like that. When asked if she has ever gone a full 24-hours without checking anything anyone has said about her, Kylie said she hasn’t. “No. I’ve deleted everything off my phone for the night, and it was nice, but I don’t want to, like, restrain myself.”
Before anyone else says something bad about Kylie online, she admits that the Kylie on Snapchat or Instagram is not the real woman. “That’s totally not me,” she told INTERVIEW. “I’m way flashier on [social media] because I feel like that’s what people want to see and that’s what I’ve always done, so I’m not going to stop. People want to see my cars and purses. People love fashion. But that’s so not me.”
