Congratulations are in order for Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy! The couple of three years were married in a fabulous Manhattan ceremony, and the reception was anything but ordinary.
Mary-Kate Olsen, 29, is a married woman! It just seemed like yesterday that she was Full House‘s resident cutie Michelle Tanner! The fashion designer married her boyfriend of three years, French banker Olivier Sarkozy, 46, in what’s being described as an intimate and unique affair in Manhattan on Friday, November 27. Who else do you know of who would give cigarettes are party favors?
It was reportedly a wedding and reception that fit the couple, who were engaged in 2014, perfectly. It’s unclear where the ceremony was held, but the reception was an immaculate soiree at a private residence on 49th Street, between Second and Third avenues in Manhattan. Cocktails were reportedly served in a glistening garden before the 50 guests headed inside for dinner.
Upon entering the reception, guests were allegedly instructed to hand in their cellphones, but they got something else instead — “bowls and bowls of cigarettes.” What? The centerpieces on all the tables were apparently cigarette bowls, and the guests all celebrated by smoking up a storm the entire night!
HollywoodLifers, send your congratulations to Mary-Kate and Olivier in the comments!
