Rumer Willis, 27, the winner of season 20 of Dancing With The Stars, shared who she thinks will win this season with HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY when she teamed up with RetailMeNot‘s Save It Forward campaign in NYC on Nov. 18. So who does she see taking home the infamous mirrorball trophy this year? We’ve got the answer!
It’s getting down to the wire on the 21st season of Dancing With The Stars, and we’re waiting on the edge of our seats to find out who will win on Nov. 24.To hold us over, we talked to last seasons’s winner Rumer while she teamed up with RetailMeNot’s Save It Forward campaign in NYC on Nov. 18. She knows a thing or two about DWTS, so who does the expert think will take home the mirrorball trophy? Turns out, her favorite is already gone.
“I mean obviously, you know, I was definitely a huge supporter of Tamar [Braxton] and Val [Chmerkovskiy] and I was really bummed about what happened and I’m glad that she’s just taking care of herself because that’s really scary,” Rumer told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Tamar was forced to drop out of the competition when she was sent to the hospital with pneumonia on Nov. 11, and blood clots were found in her lungs.
“But, with the people that are left I feel like it’s a really even playing field and it’s really hard – I have met all of them and they’re so different,” said Rumer to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Turns out, Rumer can’t choose! She has amazing reasons for supporting each competitor, so she’s rooting for all of them.
“I feel like Bindi [Irwin] is probably the sweetest girl I’ve ever met, she’s unbelievable – I’ve never seen such light and joy, such pure joy in someone,” Rumer told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Nick [Carter] has also worked really hard and he’s a great dancer and I think that just the personal struggle and the story that he shared is going to really connect with people.”
On top of her personal reasons for liking Nick and Bindi, she can’t ignore the progress and talent of their competition. “Alek [Scarlatos], I have to say, for someone who’s got no dance experience, has really been killing it and doing a great job and Carlos [PenaVega] as well,” Rumer told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “I think it’s really cool especially that he competed with his wife and now I’m interested to see what he does because I liked what he did last week.” We’re sure she’ll be watching during the season 21 two-part finale on Nov 22 and 23. And you can bet we will be, too!
