Jon Snow lives! ‘Game of Thrones’ has released teaser art for season six, and it puts a bloody Jon Snow front and center. Is this the evidence we’ve been desperately waiting for to prove he’s not gone for good?! Our gut says yes.
Long time no see, Jon Snow. The fan-favorite Game of Thrones character may have “died” in the season 5 finale, but the all-new season 6 art seems to tease that may not be the case. He’s bloody and brooding more than ever, but does this prove that he’s still alive after all?
Raise your hand if you’re FREAKING OUT. Jon Snow (Kit Harington) is featured in the first promotional art for season 6, and now we have so many questions.
His face is splattered with blood and he’s a little pale, but that may be because he was brutally “murdered” by his men in the season 5 finale. The show has been adamant that he’s really dead, but they are throwing that claim out the window with this intense photo. This is cause for a celebration, right?
The art doesn’t feature any caption, but it confirms the show’s April 2016 return. Honestly, what is there to say? They might as well have written “JON SNOW IS ALIVE” in bold letters on this poster.
It’s not a complete surprise that Jon Snow is likely not off the show forever. Kit was spotted filming in Belfast, Ireland, on the Game of Thrones set in Sept. 2015. HBO is also set to release a new line of Game of Thrones toys honoring characters we’ve lost — but Jon Snow isn’t on the list!
Kit has kept his Jon Snow-esque hair intact, and he basically told everyone that he’s not done with the show. “Let’s just say that ‘Game of Thrones’ will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over,” he told Humo magazine.
Yeah, Jon Snow is DEFINITELY a part of season 6. After this photo was snapped, he probably started kicking butt and taking names at the Wall. Keeping those theories about his return going, people! Catch up on Game of Thrones by buying season 5 on Amazon now!
