Ariana Grande rocked not one, but two new hairstyles at the AMAs on Nov. 22. Vote on your favorite look below!
Ariana Grande, 22, surprised us by ditching her signature half-up hairstyle and wore her hair down and in soft curls during her performance of “Focus” at the American Music Awards on Nov. 22. After she left the stage, she did a quick hair change, and pulled her locks into a top knot!
Ariana let her hair down, literally, as she performed “Focus” for an audience the very first time.
Her hair was dark (darker than normal?) and super long. It may have been a wig, or at the very least extensions, but she looked pretty as she strutted her stuff on stage.
After her performance, she went back in the audience to join her Nonna and brother Frankie Grande. Her hair was effortless pulled into a top knot. We spotted a mini braid around the base of the bun, giving her an extra feminine touch.
Ariana gave a shoutout to her hairstylist Dalina Rebollo on Instagram, writing: “From a huge finger wave to a fishtail/topknot thing in 15 min. only you @dalinaway 😂. thank you for making me feel pretty.💜”
Ariana Grande’s Top Knot At AMAs — Hair Quick Change
Her gorgeous makeup, centered by a dramatic cat eye, was done by Daniel Chinchilla.
He told HollywoodLife.com the secret to a perfect cat eye:
“A lot of girls try to put on their eye liner all in one swipe! They try to do it in one complete swipe and that is the best way to mess it up! I know people feel that this is the way that they are supposed to do it but it’s better if you do little strokes — look at it like a painting. You won’t mess up that way, and if you do, it will be easy to correct it doing it that way because you are doing little tiny lines. Keep it really close to the eyelashes, as close as possible, because you’d be able to control the thickness of it. Start off really thin and build it from there as opposed to one thick line that you can’t really correct afterwards.”
