Cate Blanchett and co-star, Rooney Mara, from the film, ‘Carol,’ both headed to a film gala at the MoMa on Nov. 17. These two stunning ladies both looked fabulous in sheer dresses. Who do you think won the sheer showdown? VOTE.
Cate Blanchett, 46, and Rooney Mara, 30, headed to the eighth annual Museum Of Modern Art film benefit on Nov. 17, in NYC. Both of these lovely actresses looked stunning on the red carpet in sheer looks. Which sheer look did you like better? VOTE.
Cate opted for a very gothic look last night. She donned a sheer black Chanel Couture Fall 2015 gown which featured sheer long sleeves embellished with jewels. The rest of the dress featured sheer, silk, and tulle ruffles for a very edgy look. She topped everything off with simple black pumps. Is it just us or does Cate look identical to our girl Gwen Stefani, 46, here? Even the blonde hair with the side bangs resembles the songstress so much!
Rooney also went with a sheer ensemble. She donned a sheer black Givenchy Spring 2016 dress that featured short sleeves, a high neck, and a black bodysuit underneath, completely showing off her bare legs. This ripped up, distressed looking dress was the perfect choice to match Rooney’s edgy and cool style. She paired the dress with black ankle-strap sandals and made this look sexy and edgy.
We love both of these women and we think it is so cool how the co-stars both rocked similar sheer looks. We can’t decide who rocked the sheer better — what do you think? VOTE.
