Sharna Burgess’ ‘DWTS’ Blog: Nick Carter’s ‘Slip Up’ Was My Favorite Part Of Semifinals

Sharna could not be more proud of her partner -- and we don't blame her. Nick Carter may have slipped up a little bit during the semifinals, but it brought them back with a perfect score. Read Sharna's exclusive blog here. It was definitely an emotional battle for Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess during the DWTS semifinals on Nov. 16. In this week's blog for, Sharna reveals that it was really an emotional and intense week for Nick -- and he was actually really rattled!

We made it to the finals baby!! I am so excited and so proud of Nick for getting through this intense show. He was doing so great all week during practice and he was really excited about all of our dances. That package right before we danced was really emotional and I saw him get it together right before we started. But that one little slip up of missing our wrists, it rattled him a little bit. It took us a second to get back on track, but I think it turned out to be my favorite moment of the show last night.

When we had that moment in the middle of the floor and I said “It’s okay, I’ve got you,” then we both sang the lyric together, “I don’t care if it kills me tonight.” It was a great moment for the audience to see the partnership of trust and friendship that Nick and I have. The choreography was supposed to stop in the middle of the floor, so it allowed us to have that moment. I’m so glad we did because Nick came back stronger than ever. He finished the Tango strong, he went into our Samba challenge dance confident, and he nailed the trio dance. He had a blast working with Peta and I on that dance this week.

I can’t wait to head into next week, I have some fun things in store for him. Between all of our dances, especially the freestyle, which I’m going to give him absolutely everything I’ve got on. Hopefully I can still take him all the way to that Mirror Ball!

I have to say a huge thank you and so much love to our fans. The Backstreet Army and the Sharna Squad continue to rally for us and got us to this final. We absolutely need every single one of your votes and thank you for being with us the whole way! We hope to continue to make you proud and lets see if we can win Mr. Carter that Mirror Ball!
