We’re totally freaking out right now! A new ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ TV spot, which aired during ABC’s TGIT lineup on Nov. 12, revealed new footage of the highly-anticipated sequel and seemed to feature our first look at Billie Lourd. Could she be Princess Leia’s daughter? Watch!
Billie Lourd, 23, may play Chanel No. 3 on Fox’s Scream Queens, but she’s taking on a whole new role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens! We already knew Carrie Fisher‘s daughter would be starring in the highly-anticipated new sequel, but with the release of the movie’s newest TV spot on Nov. 12, we finally got our first look at her in the franchise. Watch the trailer here!
The TV spot, which was introduced by Shonda Rhimes during ABC’s three-hour TGIT lineup, seemed to reveal Billie in a scene with General Leia (who’s no longer referred to as “Princess”) and C-3PO. Some people online are speculating Billie will play Leia’s daughter, which would be ironic since she’s Carrie’s daughter, but the Scream Queens actress has denied that in the past.

In June 2015, she told Interview magazine, “I’m not Princess Leia’s Daughter,” but said very little else about her mysterious character. It seems only time will tell.
Also in the new footage of a gun-wielding Han Solo (Harrison Ford) in action! Unfortunately, there’s still no sign of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). But the trailer does include a portion of the film’s score from composer John Williams, according to HollywoodLife.com‘s sister site Variety. Watch the full clip above!
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Are you hoping that’s Billie Lourd in the new trailer? Do you think it’s her? Could she really be Leia’s daughter? Tell us how you feel!
