Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian may be through but according to her sister Kim, that doesn’t mean he’s out of the family for good. The pregnant reality star opened up about her sister’s split in a new interview, claiming that despite all the drama, the family still just wants ‘what’s best’ for Scott.
After all of the pain and heartache that Scott Disick, 32, caused Kourtney Kardashian, 34, over the last couple of months, you would think that the Kardashians would want nothing to do with him. But as it turns out, that couldn’t be farther from the truth! In a new interview with On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Nov. 13, Kim Kardashian, 35, revealed that while Kourtney may be done with Scott for good, he’ll always be considered “family” in the Kardashians’ eyes. So sweet!
While speaking candidly in an interview with Ryan on Nov. 13, Kim opened about her sister’s highly-publicized split, revealing that much of season 11 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians — which premieres Sunday, Nov. 15 at 9pm — will focus on Kourtney’s relationship woes and her adjustment to becoming a single mother. “She shared a lot about her relationship with Scott this season and you get to see their journey,” she explained. “She is so strong. She’s raising the three kids. It’s really hard. Three kids, especially by yourself, has been an adjustment for her. You never thought this cycle would really end of Kourtney and Scott, which was kind of the same thing for 10 years.”
Still, despite all of the pain and heartache that Scott caused over the last several months, Kim revealed that she still considers him a member of the family, and wishes nothing but the best for him. “Scott is family, too. He’ll always be in our lives so we want the best for him,” she said. “He’s getting help and he’s been doing so good and that makes me happy too.”
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Scott recently ended his 30-day treatment at the Cliffside Malibu rehab center after voluntarily checking himself in on Oct. 14. ”Scott left rehab. He did 30 days and feels great. He thinks he can continue his sobriety on his own out of a treatment facility,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY at the time. Unfortunately, the move didn’t go over well with Kourtney, who is still very concerned that his short stay is just going to result in him falling back into his old partying ways.
“Kourtney really thinks Scott needs more time in rehab. One month is just not long enough to fix 12 years of problems,” an insider revealed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Scott’s been partying like a wild man since he was a teenager and he needs to learn how to really change his life. It’s like learning to walk again. Kourt thinks he needs more help and structure with his sobriety right now.”
Seeing as how they have three small kids, we think it’s totally fair for Kourtney to want Scott to be 100% clean and sober. Let’s just hope Scott will see Kourtney’s side and want to at least try again for her, Penelope, Reign, and Mason!
