Jennifer Lawrence is on a promo marathon for ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2,’ and that means she’s been pulling out more beauty looks than Kylie Jenner. For her latest look, Jen went with a boho braided updo and barely-there makeup.
Jennifer Lawrence, 25, has been all over Europe promoting the last of The Hunger Games films, and her latest, slightly messy knot braid and no-makeup makeup at the November 9 premiere in Paris might just be our favorite look of all. Find out how you can copy her hairstyle with products you can find right at the drugstore.
Jenny Cho created JLaw’s ethereal braided updo, which was paired with a flowing white gown. To create a similar look on freshly washed hair, apply a volumizing mousse like Suave Professionals Luxe Style Infusion Volumizing Souffle Mousse throughout damp hair. Once your hair is dry, you can spray in a dry shampoo like Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo to give your hair more grip for braiding, plus airy texture.
Create a deep side part, and working with one-half of your hair at a time, create a loose French braid at your hairline and work your way down. Once you reach the ends, secure the hair in an elastic and repeat with the other section of hair. Twist the two sections into a low knot at the nape of your neck and use bobby pins to anchor into place. Then, use your fingers to gently break up your braids, pulling out a few loose strands to frame your face.

Jillian Dempsey created a soft makeup look to match Jen’s hairstyle, keeping her skin clean with peachy lips and cheeks and smudged out eye makeup. She shared a picture of the finished look with the caption: “3 premieres down- 3 to go!” which means we have three more pretty looks from JLaw to look forward to.
How gorgeous is Jen’s latest premiere look? Do you have a fave beauty moment of hers from the recent The Hunger Games promo?
