Blake Shelton had Gwen Stefani in stitches Nov. 9 on the first live episode of ‘The Voice’ since news of their relationship became public. Check out the details of what he said that made her crack up!
Blake Shelton, 39, and Gwen Stefani, 46, are going to be so much fun to watch on The Voice now that it’s returned to NBC for its live shows. Even though Blake and Gwen are going to be working hard to keep the focus on the show and not their new love life, we’re already seeing a little bit of the flirtation and attraction as Blake made Gwen fall in to fits of adorable giggles over a comment he made about her giving a contestant a brand new look.
After a newly made-over Korin Bukowski showed off a new hairstyle and look on the her Nov. 9 performance, Blake spoke directly to Gwen, telling his lady love, “I think the last time you cut somebody’s hair on the show, Gwen…they won! I ended up with the person…” Gwen burst out laughing. It was so cute but unfortunately it didn’t last very long because Adam Levine, 36, jumped in and started mocking Blake’s laugh. Adam, stop stealing the Blake/Gwen cuteness! To hear more about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, head over to iTunes and download the latest HollywoodLife podcast for free!
Uber-stylish Gwen gave Korin a makeover before her big performance, changing up her hair and jazzing up her wardrobe. Gwen’s team member was previously was known for her dowdy look of loose, unstyled hair, a black hat and clunky dark-rimmed glasses, combined with a conservative black top, skirt and tights. The old look definitely didn’t scream “I’m the next winner of The Voice!” On Nov. 9, Korin rocked a long red gown, with the glasses and hat MIA and her hair styled off to her left shoulder.
The last time Gwen did a makeover for a contestant was with Craig Wayne Boyd back on season seven of The Voice, even though she later eliminated him in the knockout round, and Blake picked him up for his team. Bad choice for Gwen, but great choice for Blake, as Craig later went on to win the entire competition! It’s hilarious to see that Blake is still making sure to remind Gwen of that!
