Dierks Bentley teamed up with electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling for a special performance at the 2016 Country Music Association Awards, and they just killed it. The duo completely rocked their rendition of ‘Riser’ — get the details here!
Dierks Bentley, 39, and Lindsey Stirling, 29, were a match made in heaven at the CMAs on Nov. 4 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. They brought the house down with Dierks’ hit “Riser”, giving a dramatic performance against the background of an all-black stage with fiery video effects. So cool!
Lindsey was the perfect accompaniment for Dierks’ smooth voice, and she looked incredible in a sparkling black sequin minidress. Dierks was also in head-to-toe black to match the dark backdrop, allowing his voice to take center stage. He sang from the soul, and Lindsey was all smiles as she played her violin from her elevated platform. The crowd absolutely loved it, and couldn’t stop clapping when it was over!
Lindsey Stirling is one of the most talented musicians around. If you haven’t listened to her cover of Imagine Dragons‘ “Radioactive” with the a capella group Pentatonix, you’ve got to go watch it immediately!
We’ve been treated to some incredible performances tonight — Eric Church, Justin Timberlake, and Little Big Town are just a few of the huge names in music that treated us to renditions of their hottest hits, plus Florida Georgia Line debuted a brand new single titled “Confession”. In the mix of it all was the Miranda Lambert/Blake Shelton/Gwen Stefani drama — it was just this evening that Blake and Gwen’s relationship was confirmed, but Miranda tried to put on a happy face and like the pro she is, she totally slayed her performance of “Kitchen Sink”.
HollywoodLifers, was this your favorite performance of the evening? Tell us in the comments!
